Girls Gym Pros

Girl's Gym Pros is the first class within our WAG (Women's Artistic Gymnastics) Fitnastics program that no longer follows a circuit-based structure.

 

Each lesson the children will complete a warm up and stretching program before participating in 4 x 15-minute rotations with 3 apparatus rotations and 1 physical abilities rotation (strength, conditioning, flexibility, co-ordination).

 

The Girl's Gym Pros curriculum is designed to cover 12-months of gymnastics training which will then progress onto the Girl's Gym Champs Intermediate Program curriculum.

Girls Gym Champs

Girl’s Gym Champs is the next progression on from Girl’s Gym Pros. The foundational skills learnt in Girl’s Gym Pros will now be challenged as coaches will teach the children to connect different skills and movements together in combination, as well as to develop new more advanced skills.  Each lesson the children will participate in 4 x 15-minute gymnastics rotations including 3 apparatus-based rotations and 1 physical abilities focused rotation  (not including the 15 minute warm up at the start of class). The Girl's Gym Champs curriculum is designed to cover 12-months of gymnastics progressions, leading the gymnasts into the Senior Fitnastics Program with our Girl's Gym Aces and Girl's Gym Masters classes.

Boys Intermediate

The Boys Intermediate Fitnastics program is designed to follow on from Junior Fundamentals. This program is suitable for children who have either progressed from Junior Fundamentals or are beginning gymnastics for the first time at this age. Boys Intermediate Fitnastics is the first class within our MAG Fitnastics program that no longer follows a circuit-based structure. Each lesson the children will complete a 15-minute warm up and stretch before participating in 4 x 15-minute rotations covering 3 of the 6 MAG olympic apparatus and 1 physical abilities rotation (strength, conditioning, flexibility, co-ordination).

Intermediate & Advanced Tumbling

The intermediate/ advanced tumbling program is designed to cater to primary/high school aged children (9+ years) who have developed a strong foundation in tumbling/trampoline based skills and are looking to continue their development.  
This class is designed to follow on from the beginner tumbling program, however children who have participated in any of our Senior Fitnastics classes and are looking to spend some more time focusing on their tumbling would be appropriate to participate in this class.  
Each lesson the children will participate in 3 x 30 minute rotations starting with warm up/general stretch/physical abilities development before moving on to 2 of the following areas each week: trampolines, tumble track, tumble strip, foam pit and air track equipment.

Senior Parkour

The Senior Parkour program is designed to cater to primary and secondary school aged children.

Parkour is recognised as its own unique sport/ training method which involves moving over and through obstacles in natural or urban environment. Our facility is the perfect environment for parkour development as there is a variety of safety matting and equipment to increase the participants physical development and confidence.

Each lesson the children will participate in 4 x 15 minute rotations starting with warm up/general stretch/physical abilities development before moving on to 4 of the following areas each week: trampolines, tumble track, tumble strip, foam pit, bars.

Ages 8+ years old.

Aerial Class

This class is perfect for beginners and those looking to refine their techniques. Our experienced instructors will guide you through a series of key skills, ensuring you build a strong foundation in aerial movements.

Key Skills Covered:

  • Handstands: Master the art of balancing on your hands, an essential skill for many aerial manoeuvres.

  • Cartwheels: Learn to perform smooth and controlled cartwheels, a fundamental gymnastics movement.

  • Side and Front Aerials: Develop the strength and technique required to execute impressive aerial flips without using your hands.

  • Back and Front Handsprings: Gain confidence and agility with these dynamic springing movements that propel you forwards and backwards.

  • Salto Development: Progress towards more advanced skills with Salto training, focusing on forward and backward flipping techniques.

 

This class provides a supportive and encouraging environment where you can safely explore and enhance your aerial capabilities. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to advance your skills, our Aerial Class will help you reach new heights!
